While writing some of the first chapter and doing some outlining for future chapters, I've worked up a sketch of the "other world" that will be in the book (I know, I haven't given a lot of information yet on what the book will be about... it can change a lot in the first few chapters).
I've always loved maps. Reading them, making them, figuring out time and distances on them. Old maps, new maps, slightly black and blue maps (whoa, channeled Dr. Theo for a moment). Really, though, all maps are awesome. I even enjoy looking at elevation maps and doing some orienteering.
I'll do my best to add the map bits as I do them, but that'll depend on how much time I have and how my tech is behaving on any given day.
